Read THIS blog post by a teacher. I mean actually read it. Take it in. Think about it. And then, write about it. What do you think about it? What is the teacher trying to say? In your own words explain what "the main event" is.

After reading this blog post by a teacher, I was very shocked at how everything that he had said, made sense. This teacher is saying that even though students put off school and think that it is not useful, does not mean that they are a bad person to life as a whole. This teacher actually cares about his students and how successful they are in the near future. I think the "main event" of this blog is to show students that everything they do is going to affect their lives in some way. School is basically getting you ready for the real world on ur own and we need to be more productive for the years we have as an educated student.

Blog Post of the Day:
3 day weekend... how was it? Give me a good story or something funny that happened this weekend. Go.

My weekend was okay. Let's see, starting off with Friday, I went to the play in the black box theater called "A murder is announced". I went with my friend and it was really good. The actors were performing really well and it was a fun time. On Saturday, I went to the mall with my family and got a couple clothes and some necklaces so that was a good day. Sunday was a laid back day, I didn't do much because Sundays are always my lazy days... pretty boring but hey I got plenty of time to watch Netflix! On Monday, I slept in and then went to a friends house for most of the day. I then came home around dinner time and watched the thunder and blazers game. OKC won which was a great way to end my Monday night!

Blog Post of the Day:
Do you agree or disagree with this statement. Elaborate on why you agree or disagree.
If images are on the internet they should be "free game".

If images are on the internet, I do agree that it should be free game. Free game meaning that if it is on the internet, then anyone will be able to see it. Without having to cite the source, they should be able to use it in any project they need or any other reason. This would be easy for a lot people, especially the students that are using images for school reasons. If all images that were put out on the internet were "free game", it would make everything easier.

Blog Post of the Day:
Reflect on your resume website.

I received a score of 66/70 which is a 94% on my resume website. I thought that this score was fairly earned and I was very happy with it. Things that I did really well were thinking to put my paragraphs into photoshop, instead of the text straight on Dreamweaver and have a good color scheme. I thought that the blue and light blue really went together. Things I wish I did differently were, have a more elegant header font and change the backgrounds of each section. Before starting this project, I wish I would have known how to do more styling on the sections, like size, background, etc. While grading, I found that some people had a really cool home page and I wish I would have thought that creatively. However, I was happy about my resume website in the end.

Blog Post of the Day:
What's the coolest thing you've learned in Web Design so far? Why is it so cool and how can it help you in the future?

The coolest thing I have learned in Web Design so far is the overall coding. In Codecademy,  we learned all of HTML & CSS and it was cool how so many codes can have good effects. I did not know all these codes are codes that people use to make professional websites for users. Every code adds to giving a good user experience and that is the goal for every website creator. Web Design in general, can help a lot in future because it opens up for a computer technology career and the skills learned can be important in any profession.

Blog Post of the Day:
Define 'User Experience'. What does it mean and how does it relate to web design? Explain yourself.

User Experience means when a person's experience, attitude, actions, or emotions express how they feel about the product. In web design, the website that you create, has to give the user an experience. Hint the term "User Experience". The more creative and fluent your website designs are, the more of an experience is given to the user. Art and science are the main factors for successfully creating a good experience for every user that may potentially visit your website. If I were to create a website, I would want my users to enjoy and have fun going through my website as I did while creating it.

Blog Post of the Day:
What is a resume website? What do people put on resume websites. Spend about 5-10 minutes looking up resume websites and what they are used for. Explain what you find. Include an image of a resume website if possible.

A resume website is like a personal website for the creator. It represents skills or background information about the person. These are usually used for new employment or to share just general information to the public about yourself. People put things like their specialties, about, skills, contact information and much more of whatever they would like to tell about themselves. If you look up resume websites, you will see a variety of websites with information about the creator like so:
